Snow White and the Huntsman #Review

Snow White and the Huntsman is now playing in theaters.  An Action/Adventure/Fantasy which is a mixture between The Lord of the Rings and the Narnia trilogies!

It kept me on the edge of my seat and definitely only for ages around 13 and above.  Disney’s Snow White is no where to be found in this version!

Snow White played by Kristen Stewart, Ravenna the evil Queen played by Charlize Theron and the Huntsman played by Chris Hemsworth were all amazing. However, Charlize Theron’s performance as the evil Queen was brilliant.  Her stare was as cold as ice.

The Dark Forest scenes were some of the most exciting and at times down right frightening. In addition the location, set designs and special effects used in this movie were exceptional.

The movie is a little over 2 hours long but well worth it! This is a must see for sure.

So happy to see this review. I’ve been looking forward to it coming out. Of course, we always wait until it comes out on video and rent from Redbox…but I can wait…it is on my must see list and I am glad that it was good!

I’ve been waiting anxiously for this movie to come out. C’mon, Charlize Theron? She’s so talented! Kind of frustrated that it’s using a kid’s themed story but is for the over 13 crowd, because my son — who already complains about going to any movie without animation — isn’t old enough yet, even at a mature 12. Guess it’s another movie I’ll have to wait and watch on Netflix or Cable, because during summer vacation our movie budget is limited to movies we can all see together.
